One Minute With God

Imagine God draping His arm around your shoulders every morning, and then telling you one thing. What if He told you one thing, every day, that is true; one thing that could transform your outlook on life? And what if it only took Him one minute? That’s what "One Minute With God" is all about. Every verse in the Bible comes straight from the heart of God. Every passage contains God-breathed words meant to encourage His children (Romans 15:4). God promises that the time we spend in His Word will be worth our while: "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:10-11). How exciting! Let’s spend one minute with God together.

every place

God only puts us in places
He'd like His goodness shown.

"So...whatever you do,
do all to the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV

  1. I went grocery shopping this morning... and did it all for the glory of God! Each person I saw, each person I spoke too. Sometimes, God uses the smallest things and knows how to bring Himself big glory in it! Thanks Kathy!

  2. Thank You, Amy! It's so easy to forget, especially when we are busy and wanting to get our shopping over with!, that God wants us to glorify Him there, too. I admit, I grocery shopped yesterday, and I was friendly to everyone I came in contact with, but I didn't make the conscious effort to see beyond the surface to the spiritual needs that might be there. I wasn't praying, "Lord, I'd like to glorify You here, today." Now I'm praying that God will remind me of His Presence! Remind me of my own words!
I hope you have a great day!
    Kathy
